Final Fantasy 7: The After Years
Prologue
We stood outside of the house. A cool desert breeze blew against my face, whipping my hair back. He held me close; knowing tonight could be our last night together. We would be heading to the Crater tomorrow, to kill Doug and the Parasites. Maybe we would succeed; maybe not. None of us knew what the outcome would be.
"I love you LeeAnn." He whispered in my ear softly.
"I love you too." I whispered back, embracing him completely.
A howl somewhere in Cosmo Canyon erupted, and we both knew what we were fighting for, and that was for our parents.
