Resident Evil: DEAD or ALIVE CP.2Chapter Two: Belief
After thirty nerve wracking minutes of waiting, the call finally came in from the Sheriff. Drew quickly picked up Renee's cell as everyone listened with anticipation. The Sheriff's gruff voice came over the receiver clearly.
"Hello Mr. DeWeert, this is Sheriff Mahoney. Are you over at your friend's still?"
Drew looked over at Renee and then me before replying, "Yes sir it's just not me over, but everyone who was there when it happened. Do you need us to head over right now?"
There was a small pause of hesitation before Sheriff replied, "Yes I do need you to come over and meet me at the school where the incident happened, ASAP. Bring me the bloody clothes your friend wore too so we can use them as evidence."
"Alright, be there in five, Sheriff." Drew closed the phone and handed it back over to Renee.

Her hands tightly gripped the steering wheel as the car rolled to a complete stop. She was still alive at least. Out of the burning wreckage she pulled her broken body out and began to crawl towards the road.
What just happened?
Memories told her that someone slammed their car into hers and veered it off the road. The car hit gravel and started to roll then. That was impossible though; the Dracs and Exterminators were long gone by now
Her blue eyes shot up to see a blurry shadow standing above her or was it? "Please, don't hurt me. I need to get to the Doc and deliver him a message. I'm a Killjoy just like you!" She begged the stranger until he drew out a ray gun.
"Your death will lead me home to her. She's alive and well from what I heard. Any new news in the Zones that I should hear?"
The messenger began to cry then, "KORSE is on a killing spree along with a couple of new Exterminators. Please just let me go!"

(Five minutes after Static left elevator; nine minutes since Bulletproof was found)
Pain was throbbing no; coursing through her veins. Bulletproof was limping down the hallway, barely able to keep up with the others.
"Why are you walking funny? Party, is she okay?" The girl asked.
Party turned and saw Bulletproof's current condition. His face grew ashen, yet he looked at the girl and bluffed, "She's just tired, G."
The girl nodded and continued to run. Summertime Hope stopped Bulletproof. "Get on my back." He whispered. She nodded and did what he said. The venom was getting to her. Bulletproof wasn't exactly 'human' as it was, but last thing she needed was to become a fledging.
"I'm not going to last much longer." She moaned; beginning to slump. Her inhuman part was fighting off the venom, but was losing. At least her injuries for the most part were healed. Bulletproof's heart was pounding so fast she thought it was going to leapt out her chest and begin to dance on
